Christmas Birthday Giveaway: rules and privacy notice

These rules set out how the Chocotopia Christmas Birthday Giveaway (the “Giveaway”) works. By entering, you accept them.

1. Organiser

Chocolate Experience s.r.o., Celetná 557/10, Staré Město, 110 00 Prague 1, ID No. 06199682, registered in the Commercial Register kept by the Municipal Court in Prague, Section C, Insert 278006 (the “Organiser”). The Organiser runs the Chocotopia chocolate experience centre at V Oblouku 728, Průhonice.

2. Dates

• Entries open on 6 November 2026 at 00:00 and close on 12 December 2026 at 23:59 (Prague time).
• The winner is drawn and announced on 13 December 2026.

3. Who can enter

1. Any natural person aged 18 or older (the “Participant”).
2. Employees of the Organiser, Musée Grévin Prague s.r.o., PEKAS – Handmade, s.r.o. and of the companies that run the birthday parties with the Organiser, and their close persons, cannot enter.
3. Taking part is free. It does not depend on buying anything.

4. How to enter

1. Fill in the form on the giveaway page at chocotopia.cz (Czech or English version) with true details and accept these rules.
2. Click the confirmation link in the email we send you. Only confirmed entries take part in the draw.
3. One entry per person, however many children they add to the form. If the same person enters more than once (for example with different emails), only the first confirmed entry counts.

5. Extra chances on Instagram

1. A Participant who wrote their Instagram username in the form can get extra chances by commenting on the giveaway post pinned on @chocotopiacz and tagging a friend.
2. Each different real person tagged gives 1 extra chance, up to 5 extra chances per Participant. Tagging the same person again, brand or business accounts, or accounts that seem fake does not count.
3. Only comments made during the period in section 2 from the username written in the form count. Tagging on Facebook does not give extra chances.

6. Prize

1. One (1) birthday party package at Chocotopia for 7 children and 2 adults, as described on chocotopia.cz on the day of entry: a 2-hour programme with an animator, a themed private room, a guided factory tour, a chocolate workshop, unlimited tasting, snacks and drinks, and a gift bag for each child. Its value is CZK 12,063 including VAT.
2. Not included: catering, optional extras and additional children, which are charged at the standard price.
3. The date of the party is agreed with the Organiser, subject to availability. The party must take place during 2027, by 31 December 2027 at the latest; after that the prize expires.
4. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash or another prize. It can be transferred to another person only with the Organiser's agreement.

7. Discount for all Participants

1. Every Participant with a confirmed entry who does not win gets a discount of CZK 1,500 on a Chocotopia birthday party package.
2. We send it by email on 13 December 2026. To use it, the booking must be made by 20 December 2026 with the email address used to enter, and a deposit of at least 30% of the party price must be paid. The party itself can take place on any later date, subject to availability.
3. One discount per Participant and per party. It cannot be combined with other discounts or exchanged for cash.

8. Draw and winner

1. On 13 December 2026 the Organiser draws the winner at random from all confirmed entries. Each entry and each valid extra chance counts as one ticket. The draw is recorded and witnessed by two of the Organiser's staff. Two substitutes are drawn in the same way.
2. Before the result is announced, the Organiser checks that the winner meets these rules.
3. The winner is announced on 13 December 2026 on Chocotopia's Instagram and Facebook with their first name and the initial of their last name, and contacted by email and phone.
4. The winner must reply within 72 hours. If they do not reply, do not meet these rules or refuse the prize, the prize goes to the first substitute, and then to the second.

9. Exclusion

The Organiser may exclude, without compensation, any entry that is false, incomplete, made automatically, made through fake or multiple accounts or emails, or that otherwise breaks these rules or good manners. This also applies after the draw.

10. Final provisions

1. This Giveaway is a consumer contest. It is not a lottery or other gambling game under Act No. 186/2016 Coll., because taking part is free.
2. This Giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram, Facebook or Meta. Participants release Meta from any liability related to the Giveaway.
3. The Organiser may change these rules or end the Giveaway for serious reasons. Any change is published on this page.
4. The prize cannot be claimed in court. These rules are governed by Czech law. If the Czech and English versions differ, the Czech version prevails.

11. Privacy notice

Winner's details and proof of handing over the prize.	Legal obligation (accounting and tax) and our legitimate interest in defending claims (Art. 6(1)(c) and (f) GDPR).	As long as the law requires, at most 10 years.

Who processes your data for us: MailerLite, our email provider, which stores the entries and sends the emails, and Meta, if you came from an ad (measured with the Meta Pixel according to your cookie settings). We don't sell your data.

Your rights: you can ask us for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and withdraw your consent at any time (unsubscribing from emails is one click). Withdrawing your consent does not affect your entry. Write to gdpr@chocotopia.cz. You can also complain to the Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz).

If you ask us to delete your contact details before the draw, your entry can no longer take part.
